Hiking

A perfect place for Continental Divide hikers and bikers as well as those with horses as we have corrals and a fenced in dog areas for dogs that are civil and or on a leash. The Gila Forest and Wilderness with public access is literally 5 minutes away.
Rockhound

This area is known as “The mining district”. With so many different rocks and minerals that many Universities throughout the United States have field trips to study the unique Geology offered within this area.
Sight Seeing

The RV park is seated just off Hwy 152 and provides you with great access to hundreds of miles of paved roads and unpaved forest roads. The area has some of the largest copper gold and silver mines in the world for your viewing. The City of Rocks State Park is 30 minutes away, while The Gila Cliff Dwellings is located a little over an hour away, as is the Catwalk. There is so much to see in the area, and this environment, you’ll probably have to live here to see it all in a lifetime.
Hunting

With the South end of the Gila Forest and Wilderness minutes away, the RV Park is a perfect place to stage for wonderful hunting opportunities. Deer, Elk, Bear, Mountain Lion, Quail, Turkey, and you name it are successfully harvested close by the RV Park.
ATV rides

Being your ATV or Side by Side. . You will find some amazing places to enjoy a ride through the cool mountain air just a few miles away. Although some laws and restrictions apply, but they can be easily followed.
Motorcycle and Bicycle rides

This area boasts are many lakes, streams, and rivers. Within an hour drive, you can fish in Lake Roberts, Bill Evans, Gila River, Sapillo Creek, and Mimbres River. Making this a perfect location for a base camp.

Horseback riding is very popular due to the closeness of the Continental Divide Trail system. There are multiple trailheads within 20 miles of the RV Park and the Park offers spots to allow your livestock. A list is also available to use local outfitters and guides that are safe and recommended for adventures horseback.
